Course
The courses are very dynamic and interactive involving alot of group participation. There are scenarios acted out by participants, videos, power points, and of course, the hands on practice with the mannequins. It touches on the various learning styles such as mechanical, visual and auditory.
So what happens next?
Then the group is successfully certified!! At that point, I send all the names to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, I receive the cards in 2 weeks times and I distribute them to the participants and/or the organizer of the workshop!
How long are you certified?
BLS/CPR with AED 2 years
BLS/CPR with AED and First aid 3 years
Upon Arrival
In the morning, the participants are greeted with coffee, tea, juice, muffins, fruits and snacks when they sign in to the workshop.
Evaluation
At the end of the workshop the group undergoes a pratical and a quick written test to ensure certification. (very difficult to fail since the workshop allows a lot of time to practice and go over important information)
